Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) has signed a new agreement with Crimson Interactive for its Enago Editing Services. The agreement covers discounted pricing for authors from Tanzania for Enago’s Copyediting and Substantive Editing Services.

Copyediting: $0.040 / word
Substantive Editing: $0.060 / word

These cover things like Language and Grammar Check, Style and Consistency, and Technical Accuracy of the manuscript, to help authors prepare a better manuscript before submitting it to a journal for publication.

HOW IT WORKS

• Authors can sign up to Enago Services via the dedicated Enago EIFL web portal: https://www.enago.com/assoc/eifl/ where they can select their chosen service
• Authors need to complete the quotation request form, upload their manuscript and selecting the correct EIFL country on a drop-down menu and then submit their inquiry
• Authors will receive a quotation within 2-3 hours for review and then either approve or disapprove the quotation
• If approved, the author needs to pay in advance for the selected service, using Enago’s secure online payment system
• Enago will start working on the paper upon receipt of payment
• Standard delivery time and turnaround is app. 1000 words/day – normally around 5 days for an average long academic manuscript (4000 – 5000 words).
• Enago delivers the final edited manuscripts as Word or PDF (as received from the authors) in tracked changes and with comments
